During the test against France on Sunday, 12 November 2017 (NZT) the All Blacks
became the first team to score 2000 tries in test rugby.
By the end of game the All Blacks had scored a total of 2002 tries.
The All Blacks have played Australia the most often — 161 times —
and have scored the most tries against Australia — 438. However, the All
Blacks average number of tries per match with Australia is the third lowest.
Test matches played between 1910 and 1919 produced the most tries per match.
Interestingly the first two decades in each century that the All Blacks have
played rugby have produced the highest numbers of tries per game.
