Data released to the New Zealand Herald reveals how petrol prices varied around the country over the last six months. Fuel prices are consistently higher in the South Island and Wellington. Auckland joined the higher priced regions after the introduction of the regional fuel tax on July 1. Click on the map to change the region. Click on the chart to change the date.
